Food Review: Arabian Nites in Gurugram

For over two decades Arabian Nites has been serving the best and most healthy Lebanese cuisine to its strong fan base who will do anything to get their hands on these deliciously cooked dishes from their outlet in Vasant Vihar. Stepping into a new territory and giving Gurugrammers a good news, they recently opened shop in a small market called Supermart 1 in DLF Phase 4. Predominantly riding on the take away model, this informal cafe style outlet is seen to be buzzing with people who fall in love with the handful dishes that they offer. If you are looking at an elaborate menu and food spread and a big space to sit and lounge this is definitely not your place.

Take a quick look at what The Planet Social team did when they reached Arabian Nites, Gurugram.

What blew us away?

This small Lebanese chain seems to be knowing what they are all about with the right people backing it and catering to their growing audience. The little cafe style seating looked inviting as the decor had an Arabian touch and feel with colorful paintings and lights that gives you a nice warm welcome. Service is the major plus of this cafe. You order it and before you even think about eating your meal…it will be there. It is super quick and tastes equally amazing!

Food that we loved

The menu is not elaborate as I said. We ordered almost everything from the spread offered. Starting from the very famous  Chicken Shawarma wrap (fabulously cooked, juicy and full of flavour and meat…just enough to get me going) followed by Falafel Platter (chickpeas patties with hummus tabini along with some salad…not a veg fan but it was quiet good). Craving for some grilled chicken, we ordered the Sultan Platter which is a combination of almost everything Non veg they offer. The portions were large and flavours in place. The dishes are all grilled in their natural fat and has very less or minimal oil so health freaks this is the best you can opt for after a good gym workout. If you are a vegetarial we would suggest you go for the Beirut Platter (has paneer shawarma, falafel, hummus, babganoush and 2 khubuz /rotis).

Overall we had a great experience. If ever you crave for the Lebanese…do visit Arabian Nites in DLF Phase 4. Till our next food escapade…Happy Eating!
